Brief Description:
The workshop provides evaluators with the skills to leverage AI tools effectively while adhering to ethical standards:
- Introduction to AI for Evaluators: Covers basic AI concepts, its relevance to evaluation, and current applications in the field including United Nations AI governance. Participants will learn how AI can enhance evaluation processes.
- Use of AI Tools in Evaluation: Presents UNDP’s AIDA (Artificial Intelligence for Development Analytics), including hands-on experience.
- Ethical Principles When Using AI in Evaluation: Covers critical ethical considerations such as bias, fairness, privacy, and transparency in AI-assisted evaluation. Includes a review of UNEG’s ethical guidelines and case studies to illustrate practical application.
- Prompts Designed for Evaluation: Covers prompt engineering and its importance in AI applications. Includes practice writing and refining evaluation-specific prompts for various scenarios.
