Patricia Rogers is the founder and former CEO of BetterEvaluation and former Professor of Public Sector Evaluation at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia). She is now an independent consultant and Visiting Professor at the University of Witswatersrand. Patricia has over thirty years in evaluation including leading large evaluations, advising on the development of monitoring and evaluation systems, reviewing evaluations and evaluation designs and running evaluation workshops and courses. She has worked with government agencies, UN agencies and development organisations across diverse sectors, especially around using theories of change to improve evaluations, monitoring systems, and synthesis of evidence, Her work has been recognised with the American Evaluation Associaiton’s Gunnar Myrdal Award for Evaluation Practice and the Australasian Evaluation Society’s Award for Evaluation and Prize for Pioneering Evaluation Literature. Her qualifications include a PhD in evaluation from the University of Melbourne, Australia
