I am Mr. Eloi Kouadio IV, UNDP (United Nations Development Program) Deputy Resident Representative in charge of the Program and Operations (P&O) in Guinea country Office since December 2014. Prior to my appointment to Guinea, I held the position of UNDP Deputy Resident Representative (P&O) in Republic of Congo from 2012 to 2014.
From 2008 to 2011, I was Head of the UNDP sub - office located in Mbandaka in the Equateur province in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). In addition to the management of the agency, I coordinated and facilitated the implementation of programs and projects and assured operational collaboration with the United Nations Mission and other UN sister agencies. The Provincial Government, civil society organizations and communities benefited from my technical advice and operational support.
Previously, I held several functions as well as operational and administrative activities related to project management in the Republic of Congo from 2005 to 2008.
I am from Côte d’Ivoire (nationality) my home country where I held several high positions, Deputy Director of Environment and Planning before taking up the position of Technical Advisor in the Cabinet of the Minister of Environment of Cote d'Ivoire between 1993 and 1997.
After two years as Technical Coordinator of the Natural Resources Management Program, a UNDP funded program, joined the United Nations Development Program (UNDP Abidjan) where I served as Program Specialist from 1999 to 2005.
Specialist in environment and project management, I have a solid experience in natural resources and environment management.
I hold a Master’s degree in environmental management and a Bachelor in Physical Geography.
I am fluent in French and English.
