I am the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for UNDP Somalia and my role involves leading programme design including results frameworks, monitoring and evaluation as well as development of annual workplans and reviews. My also role involves managing all decentralized evaluations as well as coordinating independent evaluations. I also oversee implementation of the IRRF at country level and am responsible for technical support for all portfolios and projects in UNDP Somalia. I completed an MSc Degree and BSc Hon in Agriculture from the University of Zimbabwe. In addition, I have a post graduate certificate in HIV/AIDS Care and Counseling through UNISA and a Post Graduate Certificate in Participatory Planning Monitoring and Evaluation from Wageningen University of Research. I have also received various in house and on the job training on areas such as Digital Transformation, ICT for Development, Results Based Monitoring, Evaluation as well as Millennium development Goals and Sustainable Development Goals.
