NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLANNING COMMISSION
Dr. Opare-Djan, Nana has a unique set of skills as a development planning professional, an evaluator, a researcher, a facilitator-trainer, an academic, a strategist, a seasoned public servant, and a legal expert. Nana joined Ghana’s National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) in December 2000 as a Planning Analyst with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Division. He then rose to become the Director General of the M&E Division in June 2021.
Nana’s career advancement includes: the coordination of numerous development interventions; the formulation of national policies; linking policies to plan preparation; linking plans to budget; reviewing sector policies and budgets; and coordinating the implementation, monitoring & evaluation of sector district medium-term development plans.
