Economist, Evaluator and Consultant at The World Bank Independent Evaluation Group (IEG) with a 6 years career in evaluation driven by Value for Money. Sound experience in Social Return on Investment (SROI), Cost-Benefit (CBA), Social Impact Evaluation and Efficiency Analysis.
Mariana worked for a wide range of evaluation users, from Public sector (Brazilian National Industry Service; Angolan Sovereign Wealth Fund; Portuguese Policies for Social Inclusion) to the private sector (Unilever, Danone, Essilor, Nestle) and non-profits (Red Cross, World Vision, Caritas).
She is also active in several Evaluation Networks, such as the European Evaluation Society (EES), where she is a board member and co-leader of the communication and emerging evaluators teams. Mariana also has 12 years of volunteering experience on poverty alleviation an refugee issues.
