Lakshmi is currently a second-year PhD student in the Department of Health Policy in the Population Health Sciences track. She completed her MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014 on a Fulbright Scholarship and a Master of Science in Information Systems from the London School of Economics in 2007. She has spent over 12 years working on the ground in health and social sector working with the public, private and non-profit sectors in India. Her current research focuses on the impact of supportive supervision strategies for improving performance of community health workers in India. Her research interests include impact evaluations, digital health interventions, supportive supervision, health systems strengthening, implementation science, and translation of evidence into policy and action.
