Hon Eléonore JOHASY is a member of the National Assembly of Madagascar. She is President of the Commission for the Evaluation of Public Policies and President of the Malagasy Parliamentary Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition. She is also Rapporteur of the Legal Commission of the National Assembly and member of the Decentralization Commission. Member of Parliament elected under an independent label, she previously in several governments, namely, Minister of Youth and Leisure (2011), Minister of Population, Social Protection and Promotion of Women (2014 – 2015 ) and Minister of Culture, Promotion of Crafts and Heritage Protection (2018 – 2019) after having been Technical Advisor to two Prime Ministers (2004 – 2010). Trained in public governance at the CSCI in Singapore (2005) and in communication by the World Bank LN (2000), she was Founder and Executive Director of the National Agency for the Achievement of E-governance (ANRE), Head of communication for: the privatization program (1998 – 2003), UNIDO Madagascar, Mauritius, Comoros and Seychelles (2007 – 2008) and the national land program (2009 – 2010). Coming from the private sector, and holder of a master's degree in management from ESDE Paris (1986), she was Executive Director of the GEFP (2012 - 2014) and as such a member of the board of directors of the African cotton and textile industries federation (ACTIF), DRHC of Bionexx (2015 – 2017) then founder of Cabinet Capricorn Business & Services (CBS) in 2018.
