She is a Mexican economist, with master and doctorate degree in Social Sciences by the University of Guadalajara, realized research internship in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. She has teaching experience in public and private universities and is currently a professor at the University of Guadalajara.
She is a founding member of the Mexican Network of State Monitoring and Evaluation Offices (http://redmyeval.org.mx), and of the Mexican Community of Public Management for Results. Also, she is a president of the Network of Subnational Governments in Latin-America and the Caribbean Community of Practice on Managing for Development Results (CoPLAC-MfDR).
She has 15 years of experience in public management of local governments, both at the state and municipal levels, mainly in the areas of planning, monitoring and evaluation. Her experience is both as a public official and as a consultant in Mexico and some contries of LatinAmerica.
She is currently the General Director of Evalúa Jalisco, Mexico.
