Work Experience Some of the relevant working experiences acquired over time include the following: a) Project and Programme Monitoring and Evaluation This has been one of my core activity which I am currently doing in the Department. I have been working on monitoring and evaluation of government programmes and projects under the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP), conducting poverty analysis, annual update of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)/Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs), annual reviews and evaluation of national government development programmes i.e. MGDSI/II & III. b) Vulnerability, Food Security Assessment and Analysis I have coordinated and conducted several vulnerability and food security assessments and analysis under the Malawi Vulnerability Assessment Committee (MVAC) using the livelihoods based approaches such as Household Economy Approach. Also I have used the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) method in the food security analysis. I have coordinated most of the food security assessments and trainings at national and district level and dissemination of results at national and SADC regional level. c) Development of the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the MGDS III I have coordinated and facilitated the development of the M&E Framework of the MGDS III and SDG in collaboration with the sectors and relevant stakeholders. The work involved analysing the outcome and output indicators for tracking progress of the national development strategies (NDS) and the Malawi Sustainable Development Goals indicators.
