Anastase Nabahire is the Justice, Reconciliation, Law and Order Sector Coordinator since 2015 and now leading the development of the Rwandan Policy and Strategies for the Sector, and ensures proper Monitoring and Evaluation of their implementation.Former Deputy Executive Secretary to the National Committee for Community Service as an alternative to imprisonment for more than 9 years and worked as a Commissioner in Rwanda Correctional Service for 3 years before joining the current position. Masters’ Degree Holder in Public International Law, Anastase followed training in mediation and restorative justice at JAMS International Fellowship and transformational mediation at Baltimore Mediation for Centre. He has completed training in Mass Atrocity Prevention, Early Warning and Mass Atrocity Prevention and currently following the Role of Non-State Actors in Mass Atrocity Prevention at Aushwitchz Institute for Peace and Reconciliation. As an elected local leader, Anastase practices family and community mediation in the local cummunity.
